The Gartner report, which lists Symphony GOLD as a representative vendor, explores the challenges retailers are facing today that are driving an increase in investments in distributed order management systems.
Authored by Gartner analyst Tom Enright, the report highlights how retailers and direct to consumer companies are, in the light of expanding consumer shopping options, facing greater complexity in multichannel fulfillment. In order to accommodate consumers’ needs and expectations, retailers are turning to distributed order management more than ever before as a means to harmonize their fulfillment processes across all channels.
“We are proud to be acknowledged by Gartner as a representative vendor in this critical area of retail that we believe reinforces the value we deliver to our customers,” said Graeme Cooksley, CEO, Symphony GOLD. “Our order management solutions enable our customers to identify, capture and deliver the perfect order in a seamless way to manage the complexities around fulfillment, enabling efficient and cost-effective execution.”
